Why “Mighty Deeds”?
I was fifteen years old, living in the rainforests of Congo, and starting an exciting adventure of co-leading a discipleship group for young ladies called BANA BASI YA KOPELA with my dear Congolese friend, Anna.
I was impressed with how David exclaims in the Psalms, "I will proclaim your mighty deeds to the nations!" What better goal could I have, thought I, than to glorify God? I expected God to give me miracles as I obeyed Him, and wanted to start this blog to chronicle them for the dear people who promised to support us with prayer.
God works in mysterious ways and His miracles did come, but not at all as expected.
Now I am eighteen years old, living in "civilized" Canada, with a heart that still beats to the Congo-rhythm. The adventure continues!
These, then, are pages from the story Jesus is writing with my life.
My prayer is that the words written here will be all to God's glory, always.Psalm 89:13-18
